RASIKA RANJANi SABHA (Inaugurated on 12 April 1929), on its Foundation Day. Established on 12 April 1929, Rasika Ranjini Sabha, or RR sabha as it is popularly known, is in the heartland of Mylapore, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, a center of culture and arts. The Sabha has been on a journey through 93 golden years and is the 2nd oldest cultural sabha in the city of Chennai. For over decades the Sabha has brought music, dance, and drama to a wide range of audiences. The Sabha has been gracing with performances by eminent stalwarts and doyens of Carnatic music, other classical arts, and drama.
Transformed into high-quality art and cultural venue to serve the needs of our current and future rasikas better, the Sabha has rebuilt the center into a multi-facility complex with modern technical facilities and state-of-the-art electronic capabilities.
